What was the highlight of Pearlwort Hotel and Suites（珍珠酒店及套房）

The hotel manager was very quick to deal with any issue and he's very customer focused. The chef was also brilliant in meeting our needs. The kids also loved the swimming pool.

One of the staff was very rude to us. We were given only 1 towel for each room. We requested for an extra towel for the rooms as we were 2 in each room. The staff refused us the towel even after his superior had told him to. Also we requested for adjoining rooms but where not given one despite us stating it in our booking. It was not until the manager got involved that one was made available. Also, their POS for international bank cards was not working...

«The food was perfect. The chef is a Masterchef. Breakfast didn't have buffet like we expected but we understand it's a new hotel and that will improve soon. The concierge guy was very helpful and nice. Will definitely be staying here whenever am in lagos.»

The room was spacious

The internet did not work in the room throughout the 4 days I stayed at the hotel. It only worked in the lobby. Both the staff and management were clueless with regards to why it was not working. Also, there were damp patches on the wall in the room.

Every other thing. The resturant staffs were great. Clean rooms.. good value for money. Breakfast well made.

Air condition was good and so was the bed. Staffs were also good but I had to make calls for room service at least twice before they were done.

Room wasn't so clean and basic necessities like toiletries weren't provided until asked for. Fridge was also empty while TV stations available were just about 6 or so

What was the highlight of Pearlwort Hotel and Suites（珍珠酒店及套房）

I was at the hotel in May 2018, so two months down the line and the standard remained fantastic. Clean rooms, very helpful staff and good meals. This hotel is very responsive to any complaints. It is no surprise I am already booked into it again for my stay in August.

Internet - signal strength was poor but saw two men immediately working on the hub on the second floor in the morning, which means some residents complained and the hotel was very quick to get people look at it. Walls - The corridor walls on the second floor has started to peel off in some parts and will need some painting soon, although not in bad shape but needs a touch up sooner than later. Keys - The rooms keys struggled to open the floor doors for two days while I was there. It eventually was fixed. The extra layer of security the floor door provides is a plus for this hotel but can be upsetting when one has to go flights of stairs down to get a receptionist to come up and help. Again this was promptly fixed and it worked till I left.

The room wasn't as clean as it looked on booking.com and bathroom wasn't up to the standard I envisioned it to be. They probably need to improve on their maintenance culture.

The bed was comfortable, and the location isn’t bad. The hotel has potential if handled by better management and staff. A breakfast buffet was inclusive, though very few options and mostly cold!

I lodged here with my friends last week for my wedding and we all (individually and collectively) had the worst experience you could ever get from a hotel. I logded into the standard room for the first two nights and the toilet was dirty with brown stains allover. The AC was not working properly, the staff were extremely slow to address issues (and there was A LOT of issues!) and sometimes unhelpful. My sister lodged in the Deluxe room with her husband and son, and they needed an extra duvet for the child, and were told they could not have one as and i quote "1 duvet to one room"!. We were in shock as it was totally unheard of. We grew frustrated that we went to reception and they refused to bulge until a part owner of the hotel showed up by chance and we escalated the request to him, and THEN we got the extra duvet! we were on this matter for hours all just for an extra duvet - which we offered to pay for if that was the problem, but NO! As though that was not enough, we tried to connect to the Wi-FI and it never worked. Oh please note: the wi-fi never worked throughout my stay at the hotel from Wednesday to Monday. We would check out on day 1 if we hadn't already paid!! The sheets are hardly ever changed as the cleaners only come and straghten them out! The rooms are not safe for little chidren as the door latch was broken and the kid kept helping himself out of the room! They come to collect the used towels in the morning and dont replace them. Basically they take away the ones collected to wash, and then return same ones when dry- thereby leaving you without any towels during this time! It's strange a hotel cannot afford spare towels for crying out loud! On the Friday (ahead of my wedding on saturday), I moved into the Executive suite and you'd be amazed to know i was checked into a very dirty room. The toilets had pee stains on them and brown stains inside the bowl! The bath and sink were so dirty with black stains all over and cobwebs!

«The bed is super comfortable a very good sleep the sheets are fresh and of excellent quality. The room was very clean and stock replenished daily, I never once had to ring for anything. I like in london uk and I felt like I had not left so nice. Clean, safe, secure and staff are genuinely pleasant. Room service was on point the food was amazing. I travel around the world I always write honest reviews so honestly book with confidence. When electric goes off in a blink of an eye it's back on so fast and my internet worked perfect throughout and being a business woman I need it. In fact I enjoyed it that much I booked additional stays prior to leaving. Not one staff was unpleasant and they understood everything I said as i can't speak broken English only English. So a huge thumbs up to that hotel»

The food was okay. I stayed in a deluxe suite? The room size was okay.

Every other thing apart from the food. WiFi was non existent, the staff are not trained, the rooms are not cleaned properly, they check you into a room with pee marks on the toilet seat and dirty floor. We had to call everyday to get fresh towels. They take the used towels in the morning and don’t bother replacing them with clean towels. The sheets were not changed at all during the 4 night stay. I asked for an extra duvet and they won’t offer it till I spoke to the part owner of the hotel. It’s ridiculous. The staff are not properly trained, finishing is poor. The service is very poor and not up to standard in anyway. To top it off, on the wedding day, the bride wasn’t allowed to take pictures on the hotel. They knew we came there for a wedding. We had conversations with the part owner of the hotel explaining why we were lodged there. He didn’t mention anything about their no picture policy. If you want comfort, choose another hotel. This hotel is a 2 star at best. The owner does not realise that a hotel isn’t just about putting up a nice structure. You have to figure out the level of service you wish to offer to your customer and train the staff appropriately. I have had my fair share of travels and I can say the overall service here is bad. For their sake I hope they read this review and take action towards making the place better. I definitely will NOT be staying there again.

Great location, property was fitted with high quality finishing (something need to be maintained better though), breakfast was delicious and had a good variety. Overall great hotel, will be back everytime we are in Nigeria.

Airport transfer was not smooth: first there was record when I called the day before my travel, secondly the vehicle sent could not accommodate the amount of people to be picked up, which meant us forking out for an extra driver to follow us. The hotel driver was brilliant though.
